Eul’s Hardware Hank is celebrating 91 years in business. Kathy Bouta is the 3rd generation owner and many family members work at the store. Like all Hardware Hank stores, Eul’s has your basic hardware needs covered, but they also carry sometimes hard to find items. When in doubt, ask Kathy and she can help you locate just about anything in the store!
As with many other businesses, they found it difficult to get certain products such as bikes, kiddie pools, and canning supplies during the pandemic. They are happy to report that most of these items are back in stock although the canning items are still hard to find. Besides selling bikes, Eul’s also offers bike tires, tubes and repair. Their more specialized services include window and screen repair as well as cutting glass. If it’s toys you’re looking for, venture on down to the lower level to discover a toy land! A staple during the holidays, but the basement is also filled with summer games and toys including larger items.
Kathy and her family are very familiar with the businesses that have been around for the long haul in Morris and those that are newer. Kathy shares “It’s been fun to see the changes to downtown. Hopefully the trend of new businesses coming in will continue. It’s an asset to the community to continue the growth and Eul’s appreciates the extra business coming in when more people are out shopping.”
Eul’s has been a Morris Area Chamber member for as far back as our records show. Kathy finds that the Chamber offers skills that they are not able to cover such as events and online marketing. “It’s nice to have someone doing that work for you if you aren’t familiar with it.” Kathy said. She also encourages businesses to join the Chamber to provide a sense of credibility to the business.
