Morris Tree Steward Training

The City of Morris is seeking volunteers to become Tree Stewards to occasionally help plant trees and assist with mulching, winter protection, simple pruning, etc.
A free training session will be held Saturday, October 26th, from 8:30am to 2:30pm at the Morris Community Center at 603 Oregon Avenue. Lunch will be provided.
Everyone is welcome to attend. It will be fun and informative for anyone who wants to learn about trees and how to care for them. Attendees don’t need to become Tree Stewards.
The session will be led by staff from the Department of Forest Resources at the University’s St. Paul campus.
