COOKING DEMONSTRATION WITH YIA VANG

Learn about Hmong food and food ways with Yia Vang, owner and executive chef of the Union Hmong Kitchen and Vinai. Chef Vang has been nominated twice for a James Beard Award and been named EATERS “Chef of the Year.” He has appeared on Netflix’s “Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend,” as well as hosted Food Network’s “Stoked,” the Emmy Nominated show “Relish” on PBS (Twins Cities Public Television), and the podcast “Hmonglish”, where he speaks about how Hmong Americans navigate and create a third culture in the United States.
