Anyone who would like to create supportive space for queer people and celebrate queerness in Morris is welcome to attend this free community gathering!\nThis event is a casual\, open structured gathering. There is no strict time table\, and you may participate in any activities at your own pace.\nWe will have craft supplies\, yard games\, conversation starters\, a photo booth\, and a Sharing Space/Open Mic for you to enjoy with new & old friends.\nFrom 3PM – 4:30PM there will be a Sharing Space/Open Mic! Folks interested in sharing a poem\, song\, performance (drag!?)\, story\, creation\, or speech will be able to sign up starting at 2PM on June 21st. We suggest about 5 minutes per sign up slot. We will have Pride Committee members emcee-ing\, so reach out with any questions!\nEastside Park has street side parking around the entire perimeter of the park. DESCRIPTION:Minnesota Farmers Union is organizing the Green Ammonia Summit to bring together private sector partners\, technical experts\, energy and utility companies\, researchers\, policymakers and farm organizations to discuss the future of green fertilizer both in Minnesota and beyond. \nThe event is 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 10 at the University of Minnesota Morris Oyate Hall\, 600 East 4th Street\, Morris. \nThe goals of the Green Ammonia Summit: \nShare current science and technology of green fertilizer\, including climate benefits;\nExplore the relevance of green fertilizer toward corporate Scope 3 greenhouse gas inventory accounting as well as new low carbon-intensity fuel markets;\nIdentify opportunities for cooperative development and farmer ownership of green fertilizer production;\nAnd develop multi-sector recommendations to support the expansion of green fertilizer production and use in Minnesota and beyond.

SUMMARY:Morris Tree Steward Training
DESCRIPTION:The City of Morris is seeking volunteers to become Tree Stewards to occasionally help plant trees and assist with mulching\, winter protection\, simple pruning\, etc. \nA free training session will be held Saturday\, October 26th\, from 8:30am to 2:30pm at the Morris Community Center at 603 Oregon Avenue.  Lunch will be provided. \nEveryone is welcome to attend.  It will be fun and informative for anyone who wants to learn about trees and how to care for them.
