There is no strict time table\, and you may participate in any activities at your own pace.\nWe will have craft supplies\, yard games\, conversation starters\, a photo booth\, and a Sharing Space/Open Mic for you to enjoy with new & old friends.\nFrom 3PM – 4:30PM there will be a Sharing Space/Open Mic! On Saturday October 18th\, November 8th\, and November 15th from 1-4 PM the Office of Community Engagement is coordinating opportunities for students to spend time with residents living in assisted living facilities in Morris. Join one or multiple times. Transportation is provided. Meet at the Welcome Center at 12:50pm.  \nActivity will be provided. Volunteers are welcome to bring activities as well.

DESCRIPTION:The Stevens County Food Shelf provides food to people in need. Each year\, UMN Morris students go door to door on Halloween night to collect donations for the food shelf. To participate\, meeting location Science Auditorium\, at 5 p.m. Walk ins are welcome\, but registering for a team/group will help the night go more smoothly. To be in the same group please inform friends and floor mates of which fun Halloween team you selected. Group reservations are available as well. \nAll needed supplies\, information about the Stevens County Food Shelf\, and transportation are provided. Costumes are optional but welcome. We will finish up at the Food Shelf at 9 p.m. for a group picture with the amazing collection!  \nPizza and cookies provided for supper for volunteers. \nWant to lead a group? We need you! DESCRIPTION:Sharing food is a key way to build community. Morris Community Meals are free and served to anyone who wants to come. Regional businesses and organizations fund the meal\, and students\, faculty\, staff\, and community members cook\, serve and share a meal together. Morris Community Meal uses local foods and sustainable practices as much as possible\, and strives to share food from a variety of cultures. Gluten-free and vegan meals are always available. Anyone can get involved as a co-sponsor\, volunteer\, or attendee! \nFebruary’s Meal will be held from 5:30-7:30 on Monday\, February 23rd at Faith Lutheran Church\, 108 West 8th Street\, in Morris. Volunteer shifts are available from 2-9 p.m. on Sunday\, February 22nd and Monday\, February 23rd. Volunteers will help wash and cut vegetables\, prepare dishes\, make desserts and set up\, serve\, and clean up\, depending on the shift.
