Accordion books have origins in China and are composed of a continuous sheet of folded paper. Your book will be contained in a sturdy cover made of bookboard that you will get to embellish and then fill with your favorite drawings\, writings\, or anything else your creative side desires. DESCRIPTION:University of Minnesota Morris Distinguished Visiting Professor in the Liberal Arts\, Dr. José Lezcano will present a concert  featuring his compositions\, performed in collaboration with UMN Morris faculty performers Ann DuHamel (piano); Ming Hui-Lin (flute); Denise Odello (Cor anglais); Jarod Bendele (percussion); and Laura Wiebe (soprano). \nCurrently\, as Professor Emeritus and Lecturer in Music at Keene State College\, José teaches and coordinates the guitar program\, and courses in Latin American music.  He was honored by the Keene Sentinel for his contributions to the Arts in the Monadnock Region with a 2016 Ewing Award\, and since 2018 serves as an elected member of the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts\, where he advocates for New Hampshire’s creative communities.

DESCRIPTION:Spring into a healthy lifestyle with a fun 8 weeks of healthy competition! \nWeigh in dates:\nTuesday\, March 29th- First weigh in\nTuesday\, April 5th- Week 2\nTuesday\, April 12th- Week 3\nTuesday\, April 19th- Week 4\nTuesday\, April 26th- Week 5\nTuesday\, May 3rd- Week 6\nTuesday\, May 10th- Week 7\nTuesday\, May 17th- Final weigh in \nWeigh in times:\nTuesdays 6:15-7:15am in the RFC fitness room with Elissa and 8:15am-9:15am with Shadow (or by appointment the same day\, if needed)\n-Entry fee of $30.00 paid to the RFC front desk or Shadow/Elissa\n-All participants MUST weigh in on Tuesdays\n-All participants MUST weigh in using the RFC fitness room scale (that is where you will meet us to weigh in)\n-Shoes/Jackets etc. must be taken off for first weigh in and kept consistent throughout\n-$1 fee for a missed weigh in\n-$1 for every pound gained at weekly weigh in (i.e. gain 3lbs pay in $3) \nEach week a weekly winner will be announced\, the weekly winner will get a small prize \nWinner at the end of the 8 weeks:\n1st place gets 60% of the pot\n2nd place gets 20% of the pot\n3rd place gets 10% of the pot\nThe RFC gets 10% to cover some of staff costs \nCall the RFC front desk (320)-589-6485 or stop in to sign up!!
